I was supposed to act in that Lohita Das film; Later I was treated with respect: Unni Mukundan
Nivedyam is a film starring Vinumohan and Bhama together. Directed by Lohita Das, the film was released in 2007. Unni Mukundan says that he should have acted instead of Vinu in the film.
Unni Mukundan said that when Lohita Das called her to do a film, she was in doubt whether to act in the film or not, and even when she was not at all serious, he stayed with her. Unni Mukundan said this in an interview given to Popper Stop Malayalam.
‘Lohi sir did not tell me any story. He wanted to make a film called Bhishmaar. But I was not the main character in it. Mammooka or Lalettan should be done. I had a character.
I was supposed to do the film Nivedyam. That was the time when I was in doubt whether I should act in the film or not. Lohisar showed me the courtesy that day, he kept me with him even when I was not serious at all.
I was given time. Later you said that you will go ahead to act in this. He had a confidence about me. Out of that confidence I moved on. Lohi sir treated me very respectfully,’ said Unni Mukundan.
Unni Mukundan’s latest film is Shefiq’s Sathosha which is directed by Anoop and will hit the theaters on 25th of this month. The other lead characters are Aadhaman Rajan, Divya Pillai and Bala.
