Vijay Devarakonda is one of the leading actors of Telugu. He recently acted in the film ‘Liger’ directed by director Puri Jagannath. The film, which starred Ananya Pandey, Ramya Krishnan, Mike Tyson and others, was released in theaters on August 25. Filmed on a pan-India budget of Rs 125 crore, Ligar met with negative reviews on its first day of release. However, the film’s producer, Dharma Productions, had officially announced that the film collected Rs.33.12 crores worldwide on its first day.

Following this, the collections fell drastically in the following days and it became the biggest failure of Vijay Devarakonda’s career. Ahead of the film’s release, when the hashtag ‘Skip Liker’ started trending, Vijay Devarakonda said, ‘Let’s see who is blocking it’, and a theater owner strongly objected to it.

After this, Vijay Devarakonda met the director of the theater in person and fell on his feet and received his blessing. Incidents occurred where he regretted his speech. In addition, Vijay also gave part of his salary to the co-producers of ‘Ligar’ as a compensation for the loss.

Meanwhile, Vijay Devarakonda has announced that he will choose good films and act. Speaking at an award ceremony, he said, “Good days and bad days come in our lives. We all go through bad days in our lives. The important thing in life is how we recover from them. From now on I will do my job better. I will act in good films that people will like. “I want to tell you that you will like the films I choose. I took part in this festival to say this,” he said fervently.
