Rajasthan Chief Minister Ashok Khelat said in a press conference after the Republic Day function:-
The Congress is aiming to win 156 seats in this year’s Rajasthan assembly elections. Congress came to power in Rajasthan in 2018 because of many Congress leaders, members and party workers including myself.
The BJP has found nothing to complain about against the Congress government in the state. The people of Rajasthan are also happy with the current government’s activities. Government schemes and programs make people happy. Our path is right.
When Congress came to power in Rajasthan in 1998, Congress got 156 seats. I was then the President of the State Congress Committee. We are going to face assembly elections this year with the same 156 constituencies plan. We have started working on it. The legislators stood by me during the political upheavals of 2020.
I fought hard to save my government serving the people. I will fight till my last breath to serve people. I hope people will support me.
