It’s completely an internal matter of a country, so I can’t say anything specific about that. Still, I want peace to return to Bangladesh. May the people of Opar Bengal live in peace. The love and joy that everyone brings, may it come back again.’

A few days ago, producer Salim Khan and his son actor Shanta Khan died in a lynching in Chandpur. Dev was in contact with Salim Khan. Dev said, ‘At first I did not believe that Salim is no more. The time is very difficult for the entire Bangladesh. I have visited that country many times. My favorite place. My experience there is also very good. The people of that country are very calm and polite. So I want peace to return there. May they all be bound in love again.’
