The number of tragedies that hit this Friday morning the “Malley-Phare” tower that is being built, in Prilly, in the Lausanne region, is increasing. Three workers who were working on the site lost their lives. They are a 43-year-old Swiss, a 35-year-old Cape Verdean and a 30-year-old French, the police said this afternoon, indicating that there were indeed two of them, the people previously reported Missing. The Vaud cantonal police also reported a total of “about ten people directly involved, including 4 seriously injured, 2 moderately injured and 2 lightly injured, including 6 hospitals at the CHUV, one helicopter to the HUG”.
Duty prosecutors from the Vaud Public Prosecutor’s Office went to the site after the tragedy, the police said in a press release. A criminal investigation is open to determine the circumstances of the accident.
