The presentation of the short film I wouldn’t change it directed by Mario Muñoz Together with the Teletón Foundation, it is a deeply moving work that transports us into the lives of Paralympic athletes.

Shot in the midst of the pandemic, the short film captures intimate moments in which these athletes train with unwavering dedication, facing not only physical limitations, but also the prejudices and social challenges that accompany disability.

Each scene is a testimony of resilience and courage, where the protagonists tell their most personal stories, memories and challenges of overcoming that they faced.

They talk to us about how sport and their own disability have transformed their lives, but also about the difficulties they have faced with their family, school and personal relationships.

These athletes show us that being disabled is not synonymous with disadvantage or weakness, but rather a constant struggle to improve and be seen for one’s abilities, not one’s limitations.

The actor and director Rodrigo Murray, She said: “Disability has evolved over the centuries, how we talk about it and how we talk about human beings who live with this condition, sometimes we are the disabled. Nobody defines who they are, they define themselves.”

Director Mario Muñoz said that what is reflected in the short is just a small sample of the enormous universe of stories that exist around these everyday heroes.

The director of the Teletón Foundation, Fernando Landeros, pointed out that 40% of the Paralympic medals obtained in Paris 2024 came from graduates or users of Teletón centers.

“When people donate, they donate not just to build a CRIT, they donate to raise the flag and the name of Mexico high, not to show disabilities, but the deepest capabilities,” said Landeros.

I wouldn’t change it It is now available on YouTube, and it is worth mentioning that it is more than a short film, it is a tribute to resilience and the beauty of being “stubborn” in life, of fighting tirelessly and showing that the human capabilities of Mexicans know no limits.
