Young Sheldon Star Iain Armitage Promises “The Best Seventh Season We Can Possibly Make” After News That Season 7 Will Be the Last

The hit Big Bang Theory spinoff, Young Sheldon, is gearing up for its final season, and star Iain Armitage is promising fans that they will make the best seventh season possible. After the news broke that the upcoming 14-episode season will be the last for the show, Armitage took to social media to express his gratitude and love for the cast and crew.

Armitage shared an on-set photo with his TV siblings Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan, expressing his love for his Young Sheldon family. “In case you wondered, I love my family,” he wrote in the caption. “There’s about 200 more people who make Young Sheldon happen and I’m grateful for each of them. We will make the best seventh season we can possibly make. And behind the scenes there will be lots of laughter and lots of tears because I love all of these people so much.”

Revord, who plays Sheldon’s twin sister Missy, commented on Armitage’s post, saying, “Can’t stop crying. My family forever!”

As previously reported, the series will conclude with the upcoming season, with a one-hour series finale set to air on Thursday, May 16, at 8 PM.

Young Sheldon, from creators, executive producers, and writers Chuck Lorre and Steven Molaro, centers on Sheldon Cooper, a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science. The series also stars Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Annie Potts, and features Jim Parsons as the voice of Sheldon. Season 7 is set to premiere on February 15th on CBS.

Fans can expect to see the cast and crew give it their all as Young Sheldon gears up for its final season.
