Written and directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film stars Anupam Kher, Darshan Kumar, Mithun Chakraborty and Pallavi Joshi. The film has received rave reviews and support.

In this context, Madhya Pradesh IAS officer Niaz Khan wrote in his commentary on the film, “The Kashmir Files film shows the pain of the Brahmins. They should be allowed to live safely in Kashmir with all due respect. The producer should also make a film to show that many Muslims are being killed in many states. Muslims are not insects, they are human beings and citizens of the country. ”
