According to the last Global Market Forecast from Airbus, air cargo services in Latin America are expected to double by 2042. This growth is attributed to the rise of e-commerce in the region.

Air traffic in Latin America will grow by 2.2% in the next 20 years, which is equivalent to 2,390 new passenger and cargo aircraft. Of these, 190 will be wide-body aircraft and 2,200 will be single-aisle, representing 92% of new aircraft deliveries.

The growth of e-commerce has led to increased demand for air cargo services over the past two decades. Cargo traffic to, from and within Latin America is expected to almost double by 2042.

Additionally, passenger traffic in Latin America is expected to double over the next two decades. This trend is driven by the projected growth of the middle class and the high penetration of low-cost airlines.
