Ibovespa closes day high but has weekly loss with focus on Petrobras

SAO PAULO (Reuters) – The Ibovespa closed higher on Friday, with the advance of Petrobras providing relevant support, but unable to reverse the accumulated losses in the week, which had the oil company as the protagonist.

Reference index of the Brazilian stock market, the Ibovespa rose 0.46%, to 103,802.86 points, but accumulated a loss of 1.89% in the week, according to preliminary data. The financial volume on Friday totaled 19.9 billion reais.
