Idman.biz informs that in the final stage of the World Series, our country was represented by Ramiz Hasanov (80 kg) and Ibrahim Yusubov (90 kg).

In group A, Ramiz Hasanov defeated Hugo Cueno from France (2:0), Ramaz Zoidze from Georgia (4:0) and Milyan Rayic from Serbia (3:0) and advanced to the semi-finals as the group leader. Our compatriot was stronger than Christoforidis Christos in the semi-finals – 2:0. In the final, Hasanov lost to Moldovan Vasile Diakon (0:2) and finished the final stage with a silver medal.

Ibrahim Yusubov also took part in group A and finished this stage with maximum results. Our experienced wrestler won against Moldavian Trayan Kapatina (3:0), Ukrainian Nazar Doda (3:0) and Hungarian Patrik Puespoeki (3:0). In the semi-finals, Yusubov, who beat Ukrainian Oleksey Yakovchuk (3:2) with a minimal margin, met Kapatinail again in the final. This time, Ibrahim won the gold medal in the final stage, winning over his opponent (3:1).

After the competition, the points of all stages of the World Series were collected and the world prize winners were determined. According to the final result, Ramiz was the second in the world. Ibrahim defended his title again and became the world champion for the 3rd time.
