Indian player Suryakumar Yadav has been nominated for the ICC T20 Cricketer of the Year award. Suryakumar is the only Indian player to be nominated in 2022 along with role models Sikandar Raza, Sam Curran and Mohammad Rizwan.
Suryakumar Yadav produced the best performance of the 2022 game. He is the second batsman to score more than 1000 runs in a single year. He ended the year as the highest run-scorer with 1164 runs at a ridiculous strike rate of 187.43.
He has hit 68 sixes in T20Is in a single year. With two centuries and nine half-centuries this year, Yadav is the best 20-over batsman.
Mandana, who was named the ICC Women’s T20 Cricketer of the Year last year, has shown consistency in the short form.
Mandana is the fastest Indian player to score fifty. (in just 23 balls) and crossed 2500 runs in T20Is.
