Dubai: Virat Kohli improves in ICC Test Rankings Kohli moved up two places to seventh with a half-century in the Cape Town Test against South Africa. Kohli scored 79 in the first innings of the Cape Town Test and 29 in the second innings. Australia’s Marnus Labuschagne has dropped to sixth in the batting rankings after missing the series against South Africa due to injury.

Australia’s Travis Head finished fifth behind Rohit. In the batting rankings, Rishabh is 14th. In the Ashes, Steve Smith is fourth, England’s Joe Root is second and New Zealand’s Kane Williamson is third.

Jaspreet Bumra moved up three places to 10th position in the bowling rankings. Bumrah returned to the top 10 with 12 wickets in the Test series against South Africa. Bumrah’s teammate Mohammad Shami is 13th.

South Africa’s Kagiso Rabada, meanwhile, jumped two places to third in the series against India by 20 wickets. In the bowling rankings, Australia’s Pat Cummins remain at the top while India’s R Ashwin retains the number two spot. Ashwin and Bumrah are the top ten Indian bowlers. In the all-rounders’ rankings, Ashwin is second and Jadeja is third. India tops the team rankings.
