The 3rd wave spread of corona virus in India came under significant control. As the incidence of the infection dropped to less than a thousand, people began to sigh with relief. But over the past few weeks the incidence of the infection has started to increase again. With the daily incidence being reported daily at an average of over a thousand, the incidence of infection has been fluctuating.
Particularly in the capital, Delhi, where the epidemic is on the rise, people are worried. The incidence of corona in the northern states continues to rise. Thus, corona restrictions such as wearing a mask were re-enforced in many states. As the spread of the disease has increased significantly, the idea of a 4th wave of corona in India has not gone unnoticed.
In this context, Samiran Banda, Additional Director, Medical Research Council of India (ICMR), said, “The incidence of the disease is increasing at the district level. This is called an unexpected small surge.
This boom may be controlled within certain areas. Therefore, this cannot be considered as the fourth wave. The number of hospital admissions across the country has not increased. Essentially no newly deformed corona was detected. This indicates that there is currently no 4th wave in the country. ”
