Chennai: The Madras High Court has banned the illegal release of Nayanthara starrer ‘Connect’ on websites.

Director Vignesh Sivan’s production company Rowdy Pictures has produced ‘Connect’. Directed by Ashwin Saravanan, this film features Nayanthara, Sathyaraj, Anupam Kher and Vinay.

Vignesh Sivan’s Rowdy Pictures has filed a case in the Madras High Court to stop the illegal publication of this film on 2634 websites.

The case came up for hearing today before Judge C. Saravanan. Lawyer Vijayan Subramanian, who appeared on behalf of the film production company, argued, “If this movie, which was released yesterday, is released on the internet, it will cause huge losses. The lives of the film industry will be affected. Therefore, it should be banned from illegally releasing it on the internet.”

Accepting this, the judge has ordered a ban on the illegal publication of the film ‘Connect’ on websites.
