Ramanathapuram: A consultative meeting of the leaders and members of the Watershed Development Association was held at the District Agriculture Office in Ramanathapuram.
Trenches and farm ponds should be set up in the catchment areas. He said the work of planting saplings under the farm production scheme and providing tarpaulins, sewing machines and hand sprayers in the livelihood development scheme should be completed expeditiously. Watershed Development Agency Deputy Director of Agriculture Saraswathi, Assistant Director Ramkumar, Engineer Balaji among others participated.
