A 17-year-old teenager was arrested and taken into custody on Tuesday at the Conflans-Sainte-Honorine police station (Yvelines), we learned this Wednesday. Last spring, the individual burglarized the security guard’s dressing room at the brand new Paris-Saint-Germain training center in Poissy.

Suspect says he got rid of stolen items

The scientific police were dispatched to the site to take samples. Its agents come under DNA. From this genetic profile, a young man is identified by the National Genetic Fingerprint File (Fnaeg). The teenager was arrested Tuesday morning at his home in Montreuil (Seine-Saint-Denis).

Heard by the police from the Conflans police station, he admitted the facts, “with difficulty” according to a police source. As for the stolen items, the young man claims to have gotten rid of them: he explained that he threw them away. The site’s remote control and access control reader have not been found.

Football clubs arouse desire

If burglaries at football players’ homes while they are playing matches have increased in recent years, the clubs themselves are not spared. Last September, an Olympique Lyonnais store, near Groupama Stadium in Lyon, was targeted. Organized burglars had loaded a large quantity of official jerseys and clothing bearing the “OL” logo into vans. Five suspects were arrested less than an hour later.
