Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) Launch Attacks on Hezbollah Targets in Lebanon
In a series of targeted attacks in Lebanon, the IDF has struck a number of terrorist targets belonging to the Hezbollah organization. This morning and throughout the night, the IDF targeted operational and terrorist infrastructures, as well as a military compound. Additionally, IDF forces carried out artillery attacks in Lebanese territory, according to the IDF spokesperson.
The extent of the destruction caused by these attacks was documented and circulated on social media. Images and videos of the aftermath of the airstrikes in the town of Yaron and the village of Kila in southern Lebanon have been shared online. In a particularly shocking turn of events, a team from the Al Manar media channel, known to be affiliated with Hezbollah, was almost eliminated during the morning attacks.
Furthermore, reports from Arab networks suggest that Hezbollah has claimed to have deployed a new, highly destructive missile system with the ability to target land, air, and sea targets – both stationary and moving. According to the organization, the system also boasts an operational range of 8 to 10 kilometers.
The IDF has responded strongly to these claims and reaffirmed their course of action, stating that they are targeting terrorist infrastructures belonging to Hezbollah, as well as carrying out defensive artillery attacks in Lebanese territory.
