The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) have struck a military command center and military infrastructure facilities in Syria. This was reported by the army’s press service on its Telegram channel, Day.Az reports with reference to Gazeta.ru.
“The Syrian regime is responsible for all terrorist acts occurring on its territory and will be held accountable for them,” the statement said.
The Israeli army’s press service explained that the strike was carried out in response to a drone attack that originated from Syrian territory and was intercepted near the southern resort town of Eilat.
According to the IDF, the targets hit were those used by the Syrian Armed Forces’ air defense unit. The press service noted that all terrorist actions taking place on Syrian territory will be held accountable for this.
