The IDF’s efforts have revealed the quality of Hamas’ underground military facilities, highlighting the significant financial investment and high standard of their military equipment and facilities compared to the poverty and living conditions of Gaza’s residents.
The operation involved the 36th and 162nd divisions penetrating into the heart of Gaza City from the north and south. The successful operational activity on the ground has not yet translated into clear strategic achievements, as the goals of the war may not be met at this stage.
Israel still faces significant challenges in the Gaza City and the north of the Gaza Strip, with ongoing guerrilla warfare and heavy battles expected in certain areas. However, Hamas has lost control over Gaza City, and there are signs of a break, but significant challenges remain before the IDF’s goals can be met.
As Hamas continues to fight, Israel’s strategic goals for the war have not yet been fully achieved, and the IDF must remain vigilant in the face of ongoing challenges in the region.
