Israel’s specialized canine unit, Oketz, played a crucial role in the recent discovery and raid of a tunnel built by Hamas terrorists in the southern part of Gaza City. The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) spokesperson announced the successful operation on Friday, praising the work of the military’s four-legged heroes.
A video released by the IDF showcased the canine unit in action as they trotted along the elaborate terror tunnel, equipped with a camera to capture the intricate network of passageways. “The dogs are used for tactical purposes such as identifying enemies, explosive ordnance disposal (EOD), and search and rescue missions,” Major A told Fox News Digital.
