Outer space in national defense.- Javier Medina Castro
Outer space has become an indispensable part of our daily lives. In this context, international society has become aware of its value and has taken sides in the development of protection policies for its use, based on the increase in risks that the progressive increase in access to outer space has entailed. In this way, the body of spatial law, still in force, is becoming, to a certain extent, obsolete due to the new dynamics of the States, becoming a real need for nations to find out the global context from which to develop future actions and strategies so as not to be left behind in this new phenomenon with a fervent relevance in the international framework. The purpose of this article is to find out what are those threats against which States must provide solid protection.
