Return to Westphalia. The impasse of the international order after the war in Ukraine.- Fernando Prieto Arellano

The war in Ukraine has revealed the breakdown of the multilateral order of international relations and its replacement by a multipolar system, still imprecise but increasingly close to that established after the Peace of Westphalia: a system of interwoven alliances, with allies and friends -enemies of convenience, who look askance at each other and trust as long as it serves them, and in which China and its partner, Russia, seem to be winning the diplomatic game over the United States and its Western allies.
