Casimiro (La Liga)
Real Madrid won its 35th championship on Saturday, and is already thinking about next season. Alongside names of players set to arrive like Killian Ambape and Antonio Rodiger, there will also be a number of departures in Carlo Ancelotti’s squad, with one of them potentially unexpected.
According to a report in the Brazilian ‘UOL Esporte’, a source considered credible when it comes to players from the samba country, the Blancos are considering parting ways with Casimiro in the summer, but only in case a tempting offer of 50 million euros arrives. Paris Saint-Germain and Juventus have been mentioned as the teams most interested.
The 30-year-old Casimiro, whose € 50 million is also his market value, recently extended his contract at the club until 2025 and has not expressed a desire to leave, but the said whites are considering it. Marked as possible substitutes for the link are Orlian Choumani from Monaco and Bruno Gimraish, also a Brazilian, from Newcastle.
