Dehradun: The Dhami cabinet of the Uttarakhand government has decided that if any person or institution forms a trust in the name of Badrinath-Kedarnath Dham, then the government will implement strict legal provisions for this. Strict laws will also be made regarding similar names. The government has taken this decision in view of the ongoing controversy over the construction of a symbolic temple of Kedarnath Dham in Delhi. The Religious Endowment Department will soon prepare a proposal and bring it to the cabinet.
A meeting of the Dhami cabinet was held on Thursday. Many important decisions were taken in the cabinet meeting today. First of all, a condolence motion was moved in the cabinet, in which tribute was paid to the martyrdom of five soldiers of Uttarakhand who were martyred in Kathua, Jammu and Kashmir. Along with this, tribute was also paid to the late MLA Shailarani Rawat. The cabinet has decided to hold the upcoming assembly session in August. Chief Minister Pushkar Singh Dhami has been authorized to decide the date and place of the session. The cabinet has also approved the Uttarakhand Wood Based Industry Establishment Rules 2024. Permanent employees of SIDCUL in the industrial sector will get revision allowance under the seventh pay scale. The Council of Ministers had earlier decided to increase dearness allowance by 50 percent, in which now the limit of gratuity has been increased to Rs 25 lakh.
Decision on stamp duty on agricultural loan
Stamp amendment rules were proposed. Now there will be no stamp duty on agricultural loans up to Rs. 5 lakh. For technical testing of externally aided projects, a committee constituted under the chairmanship of planning secretary will recommend more than Rs. 5 crore. After this the high power committee will take a decision on it. Till now only the high power committee used to make recommendations. The council of ministers has approved the creation of 25 posts of Project Implementation Unit for operation of Vidya Samiksha Kendra under the Education Department. The council of ministers has decided to restart two companies of NCC in Champawat. 119 posts of UREDA structure have been reorganized to 148.
Decision on government tender too
The rules for the revolving fund of vigilance in the personnel department have been approved. The state government will now operate the Naini Saini airport itself. Earlier it was decided to give it to the Air Force. 212 hectares of land has been approved for the expansion of Pantnagar airport. One selection has been separated in the government servant seniority rules. Consent has been given to make financial and administrative rules of the House of Himalaya and organic brand. Consent has been made to open the Center for Hindu Studies in any university of the state. Tenders up to five lakhs will be given to local contractors of Uttarakhand. The planning department will also provide capacity development training to the contractors.

The Council of Ministers for the Health Department has decided that the direct recruitment registration charge and ambulance charge for 240 nursing posts each in Medical College Pithoragarh and Haridwar will be the same. OPD fee has been reduced from Rs 13 to Rs 10, from Rs 28 to Rs 20 in District Hospital, and Rs 25 in CHC for IPD. Admission charge of Rs 17 to 10 will be charged from the fourth day of PHC in general ward. Charges will be charged from Rs 17 to Rs 15 in CHC and from Rs 57 to Rs 25 in Urban Hospital. In private ward, double bed has been charged from Rs 230 to Rs 150 and single bed from Rs 428 to Rs 300. In AC, charges will be from Rs 1429 to Rs 1000. The fare for 5 km in ambulance was Rs 315, which has been reduced to Rs 200. After this, it has been reduced from Rs 63 to Rs 20 per kilometer. This rate will be applicable only on government ambulances. CGHS rates will be adopted in lab charges.
Prescription will not be made again in the hospital
First, on referral from lower to higher center, registration charge will have to be paid only once. There will be no need to get the form made again on changing the hospital. Along with this, if the patient dies in these hospitals, he will be dropped home by ambulance free of cost.
