Fiorello throws dampens the controversy that arose after the protests of the inhabitants of Via Asiago over the problems created by ‘Viva Rai 2!’. In a video message posted on his social profiles, the showman announced that the morning broadcast “if it were to take place it will not take place in via Asiago. We are looking for a new location. If we manage to find it, the program will be made, if we are unable to find it by November, ‘Viva Rai2!’ it will really be just a good memory”.
Fiorello spoke of “exploitation” by the press and renewed his apologies “to the inhabitants of Via Asiago for the damage and inconvenience caused. We really didn’t think that the program would take that turn – added the Sicilian showman – We thought that the program was done inside the glass, then instead it developed outside, with all the chaos that happened, the public that came from all parts of Italy. In short – concluded Fiorello – we got a little out of hand and so we apologize again.”
