jpnn.comJAKARTA – Trisakti University criminal law expert Abdul Fickar Hadjar spoke out regarding the corruption case at the Directorate General of Railways (DJKA) of the Ministry of Transportation (Kemenhub).
He assessed that the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) could re-examine Muhammad Lokot Nasution (MLN) if there was evidence linking him to the case.
“If there is evidence that links it,” he said via text message via the WhatsApp (WA) application, Tuesday (6/8/2024).
He was asked to comment on the name of MLN as the Commitment Making Officer (PPK) of the Lampung Work Unit (Satker) who was mentioned six times in the trial at the Bandung Corruption Court, West Java, Tuesday (23/1/2024) with the defendant Zulfikar Fahmi, Director of PT Putra Kharisma Sejahtera in the corruption case at the DJKA Kemenhub with Case Number 6/Pid.Sus-TPK/2024/PN Bdg.
MLN and friends were said by the Public Prosecutor (JPU) at the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) to have received bribes worth IDR 9.3 billion.
Zulfikar Fahmi is a defendant in a bribery case related to a goods and services procurement project within the Bandung Class I Railway Engineering Center at the Ministry of Transportation’s DJKA.
Meanwhile, MLN, who is currently the Chairperson of the North Sumatra Regional Leadership Council (DPD) of the Democratic Party, was questioned as a witness by the Corruption Eradication Committee (KPK) on Tuesday (27/2/2024).
After being questioned for 11 hours, MLN jogged to avoid being chased by journalists at the KPK Building in Kuningan, South Jakarta.
