Corsair has announced a curious keyboard that in this case is magnetic because the switches it uses are the new MGX from the company. The keyboard in question is the K70 Max, and therefore its design and features are those of other K70s, except for the switches. It’s an extended keyboard, measuring 442mm × 166mm × 39.2mm, including wrist rest, and overall weighing 1,390g.

The pulses are sent at 8000 Hz to minimize this part of the input latency. The keycaps are made of good-quality, double-injected PBT, which show off the RGB lighting on the switch well. It includes multimedia controls and the usual volume wheel. Includes complete follow-up (n-key rollover) or individual keystroke detection.

Los interruptores MGX they are magnetic and configurable. The actuation point can be set from as low as 0.4mm to 3.6mm, with a total switch travel of 4mm. From iCUE Two actuation points can be defined at the same time on a key, assigning different actions to each one. For example, have the normal action at 1mm and a different action at 3mm.

Of course, he is in charge of saying that it has a similar feeling to the mechanics, which are the benchmark at the end. The base has two layers of damping to reduce side noise. The wrist rest is magnetically attached, filled with memory foam.

Its price is 230 euros/dollars.
