In the video shared by Doctor Pawan, the mother of an infant has brought her child to him for treatment. The doctor asked him whether he fed mango to the child and after that he had diarrhoea. So the child’s mother’s answer was that yes, she had fed mangoes to the child, after which his health deteriorated.

On this the doctor asked whether the child was fed after soaking it in common water. On this question the woman said that she had fed the mango without soaking it. The doctor told that mango contains phytic acid which can increase the heat in the child’s body. Due to this, the child is at risk of diarrhea.

How to feed mango to a child

Regarding the way to feed mango to children, Dr. Pawan said that you should put this fruit in water and leave it for some time. This will greatly reduce the amount of phytic acid present in the mango and will not harm the child’s body. You can also soak mango in water and keep it in the refrigerator. Due to this the child will not have diarrhea or any other gastrointestinal problem.
