Technology company Apple’s newly previewed iOS 16 allows users to view their WiFi network password.
The iOS 16 Developer Preview has an option to view the WiFi password and copy it and share it with friends or family.
This feature is not available on iOS 15.
When users open the WiFi section in the Settings section and then tap on the network they are connected to, there is a new ‘Password’ option. Tap on it and they will be shown the password of that WiFi network.
To view the saved password, users need to authenticate with Face ID, Touch ID or PIN.
This is an easy feature if users want to share their password with someone else or want to connect to a non-Apple device where sharing is not automatically available.
Apple has previewed the latest iOS 16, iPadOS 16, macOS Ventura and WatchOS 9. It has also confirmed that the general beta of this OS will be available on the company’s testing website in July.
