British-Nigerian influencer Igho “Tiny” Ubiribo died in Bangkok on March 6, 2026, at age 43 after a cosmetic penis enlargement procedure caused a fatal pulmonary embolism. A coroner’s inquest confirmed that 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine triggered the clot during his luxury vacation.

Ubiribo, known online by handles including Denisi and Ego, traveled to Thailand with his wife, Danielle Simba Allen, staying at a Marriott hotel in Bangkok before checking into an unnamed clinic on March 5 for the enhancement procedure, according to an inquest at Inner West London Coroners’ Court.

The Fatal Chain of Events in Bangkok

Following the injection of 40 milliliters of hyaluronic acid and lidocaine, Ubiribo and his wife went for a massage. It was during this relaxation session that the British-Nigerian businessman started to complain of chest pain and lost consciousness twice.

Emergency responders rushed him to Sukhumvit Hospital by ambulance. Although he was initially conscious and able to answer questions, his condition deteriorated rapidly. Dr. Thongchai Chansirirattingkul of Sukhumvit Hospital recounted the timeline, noting that the patient had experienced two fainting episodes during his massage earlier that day.

Despite his wife’s efforts to inform medical staff about the cosmetic injections, Ubiribo lapsed back into unconsciousness before doctors could perform a recommended CT scan. Medical personnel determined he had suffered a pulmonary embolism—a dangerous blockage in the blood vessels of the lungs—and moved him to intensive care. Doctors performed CPR on him for more than 100 minutes before he was pronounced dead in the early hours of March 6, 2026.

Coroner Findings and Medical Warnings

Back in the United Kingdom, a formal postmortem examination verified the cause of death. Pathologist John du Parcq noted that cellular material found in the lungs matched the hyaluronic acid used in the procedure, confirming the preliminary findings from Thai authorities.

Coroner Jean Harkin formally ruled that the cosmetic operation caused the fatal pulmonary embolism. Medical professionals point out that while hyaluronic acid penile fillers can cost up to $9,000 and generally last between six and nine months, the procedure carries severe risks. British urology experts have issued warnings regarding potentially devastating complications stemming from such cosmetic enhancements.

Ubiribo’s London-based primary care doctor confirmed to investigators that his medical history included a prior joint operation, gout, and pre-diabetes, though he had no other underlying health conditions.

Lavish Lifestyle and International Mourning

Before his sudden death, Ubiribo cultivated a prominent digital footprint, boasting approximately 185,000 Instagram followers. His online presence frequently showcased a high-end lifestyle, including a $1.1 million home in Los Angeles’ Crenshaw neighborhood and an apartment in London valued at $600,000. In 2022, he and his wife, a fashion designer and socialite, celebrated an elaborate $473,000 wedding ceremony in Zimbabwe.

Following his repatriation, Ubiribo was laid to rest in Kensington, London, inside a gold coffin reportedly priced at over $745,000. Mourners gathered to pay their respects, including childhood friend and Nigerian afrobeat star Davido, celebrity barman Cubana Chief Priest, and Pastor Tobi Adegboyega.

“I won’t lie, it is not easy when someone like Tiny leaves. His absence is heavy; it doesn’t feel real. A man of so much energy, so much presence. The silence is heavy. He is not someone I ever thought I would be speaking about in the past tense.”
