After its 10-year anniversary, the “Winter Sports in Schools” (WaS) campaign is more relevant than ever. Over 3,000 elementary school students in the Imst and Landeck districts are supposed to find or maintain their enthusiasm for skiing with free ski days.
What used to be taken for granted is no longer the case today,” says former professional ski world champion and current chairman of the Tyrolean Ski Association Andre Arnold. The goal is clear : To awaken the enthusiasm for the white sport among elementary school students with free ski days or to secure it. 28,500 kids have already been lured onto the slopes.
