On May 13, the II Ministerial Conference of ISESCO on PISA began its work in Baku.
As Day.Az reported on Monday with reference to Trend, the international conference, organized by the Ministry of Science and Education of Azerbaijan and the Institute of Education in partnership with the Islamic Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) and the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development (OECD), is dedicated to topic “Review of PISA 2022 results: global and regional trends.”
The conference is attended by more than 40 delegates from Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, Saudi Arabia, Qatar, Egypt, the United Arab Emirates, the Kingdom of Bahrain, Latvia, Nigeria, Malaysia, Morocco, Brunei, Lebanon, the Sultanate of Oman, Gambia and other countries.
The purpose of the conference is to adapt countries’ assessment frameworks to their unique educational landscapes, identifying key points and best practices that can be used to develop more effective and relevant assessment systems.
At the moment, the conference continues its work.
