IIT students at top Indian institutes are using their skills and knowledge to educate and motivate aspiring students preparing for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE). These students, who have excelled in the JEE Advanced, have attracted a large following on social media and are now sharing their expertise through YouTube channels.

One such student is Egnoor Singh, a student at IIT Bombay, who has been posting videos on YouTube since 2020 documenting his campus life and sharing JEE Advanced preparation tips. With over 131k followers on his channel, Egnoor aims to bridge the learning gaps that many students face and guide them on the journey to success in the JEE exams.

Datsam Ranjan, a student at IIT Delhi, also started making exam-related videos on his YouTube channel after being dissatisfied with the teaching methods of many online educators. With a “decent score and rank” in the JEE Advanced, Datsam wanted to provide practical advice to his juniors. He aims to be a trusted senior to students and provide them with the content they need to succeed.

Rushi Kale, an IIT Bombay student, was inspired to start her own YouTube channel after watching Gaurav Taneja’s (Flying Beast) content. While her main goal is to document her college life, Rushi aspires to be the best Indian YouTuber and create a one-stop IIT-related channel. She has already completed videos at five out of the total 23 IITs.

Kalpit Veerwal, who scored a perfect 360/360 in the JEE Main 2017, is also using YouTube as a platform to guide and mentor students in engineering and medical entrance exams. He started his own company, AkadBoost, and his channel has over 334k followers. Despite the challenges of managing his company alongside his studies, Kalpit completed his B.Tech in three and a half years.

These IIT students’ YouTube channels not only provide guidance for exam preparation but also offer insights into campus life and practical advice for aspiring students. Their dedication to helping others and sharing their knowledge has earned them recognition and respect within and outside their respective institutes.

With their videos gaining popularity and reaching millions of views, these IIT students are making a difference in the lives of aspiring engineers and doctors. They are not only excelling in their academic careers but also using their skills and platforms to mentor and motivate the next generation of IITians.
