Ikea has distributed more than 18 million extra euros among its workforce of more than 10,000 workers in Spain as a thank you for their commitment to the business and their contribution to the results obtained last year, according to the company in a statement.
Specifically, the Swedish multinational has indicated that after the “good results” of the previous year it has been allowed to reward the contribution of its workers with a bonus within the ‘One Ikea Bonus’ program which this year has amounted to 14 million euros, distributed for the entire staff.
In this way, the only requirement for employees of the Swedish firm is to have spent at least 180 days working within the fiscal year.
In addition, the company distributes more than four million euros corresponding to the ‘Tack!’ loyalty program, which means thank you in Swedish and whose objective is to reward the loyalty of the people who work in the company. This amount will be distributed equally among all workers through an individual annual contribution to a pension plan, once an initial period of five consecutive years working at the Ingka Group has been completed.
Both programs were created based on compliance with the financial objectives applied in each of the countries in which the Swedish multinational operates and since they were launched nine years ago, Ikea has distributed more than 930 million extra euros among its employees. in Spain.
