Swedish multinational Ikea has announced that in the next two years will open until 12 stores a Catalonia with an investment of 40 million euros. This fact will translate into a 18% increase in the workforce that operates in Catalan territory, which, at present, is made up of 1,800 workers.
The company has explained that the Catalan market, along with Madrid and Andalusia, is one of the “priority” growth territories.
New establishment in Barcelona
This Wednesday, Ikea will open a new establishment to Barcelona, situated at thediagonal Avenuewhich will have an area of 1,525 square meters and two floors and has involved the investment of around five million euros and the incorporation of 58 workers.
Soon, he will also open a new store at Westfield Glòries shopping centre.
