It has been announced that Vijay Sethupathi starrer ‘Mamanithan’ directed by Seenuramasamy will be released on May 6. The film is produced by Yuvan Shankar Raja on behalf of his YSR Studios.
After Dharmadurai, the anticipation for the film has increased as director Seenu Ramasamy, Vijay Sethupathi and Yuvan Shankar Raja have teamed up. Yuvan Shankar Raja composed the music for the film along with Ilayaraja.

The film is being released by RK Suresh on behalf of Studio 9. He is the producer of the film Dharmadurai. Sukumar has done the cinematography for this film. The songs Tattiputta and Ninacchathonnu from this film have already been released and are getting good response.
