The Redbirds showcased their strength at the Gregory Street Courts, setting a positive tone as they approach the final stretch of their fall season.
Doubles Play Sets the Stage for Success
The Redbirds began Saturday with two rounds of doubles competition, demonstrating early dominance. In the first round, Tomas Valencia and Christian Capacci defeated Marquette’s Perrill/Coppage 6-3, while Finn Logue and Caden Scarlett overcame Vazquez and vazquez with a score of 6-4.Peceages up houses and Jett Leong rounded out the session with a decisive 6-1 victory over Iker Dellien and Sam Klein of Northern Illinois.

Further solidifying their dominance, Peceages up houses defeated Klein (NIU) 6-4, 6-0, and Finn Logue triumphed over Juarez (NIU) 7-5, 6-0. Jett Leong also secured a second singles victory,defeating Ivan Vazquez (MU) 6-3,6-4,and Caden Scarlett completed the sweep with a 6-0,6-2 win over Wong (MU).
