Time.news – Jerry Calà was hospitalized urgently in the night in Naples and he was operated on for a coronary stent but he is fine and wants to return to work as soon as possible. “I just chatted with him, the surgery went very well and he would like to return to the set in two-three days but I think it will take at least a week”, his agent, Alex Tempestini, told Time.news.
The 71-year-old actor from Verona was taken ill in the Hotel Santa Lucia where he was staying and was taken in red code to the Mediterranea clinic, where theangioplasty surgery. The former “cat from Vicolo Miracoli” has been in Naples since the end of February for the filming of “They kidnapped Jerry Calà: ransom is a problem”. The film, directed by and starring in Calà, is produced by Gianluca Varriale for VargoFilm. Filming, however, was almost completed, the agent reported.
