pronouncement

The dean and the Board of Directors of the Huánuco Bar Association express their concern regarding the need to implement more jurisdictional bodies in the Judicial District of Huánuco, given the excessive and growing procedural burden faced by the various jurisdictional bodies of our region.

The implementation of a 2nd Criminal Court of Appeals is urgently needed, a 5th Unipersonal Court in Huánuco, a Unipersonal Court in Leoncio Prado; jurisdictional bodies that, finding themselves in a procedural overload, have been scheduling their hearings until 2024; Likewise, in view of the increasing cases of violence against women and members of the family group, we also warn of the need for the prompt implementation of the Integrated Module for attention to violence against women and members of the family group (SNEJ protection) and Criminal Module for sanction of crimes associated with violence against women and members of the family group mentioned in Legislative Decree 1368 (SNEJ PENAL), this within the framework of Implementation of the National Specialized Justice System for the Protection and Punishment of Violence against Women and Members of the Family Group, which despite the time that has elapsed has not yet been implemented in this region.

Jurisdictional bodies that will allow a more rapid attention to the demands of the litigants; because there is no justification that the Judiciary only attends to the demands of the large Judicial Districts such as those of the north or south, leaving our Region in oblivion; Therefore, we demand on equal terms the implementation of said jurisdictional bodies.
