Now I am preparing for the Challenge World Cups, which will be held in Bulgaria and Slovenia.

As Day.Az reports, Nazanin Teymurova, a member of the Azerbaijani national women’s artistic gymnastics team, a participant in the ongoing 8th Baku Open Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championship, told Trend on Thursday.

“I rate my participation in competitions from the beginning of the current season quite well, but, of course, there is still something to strive for. At the World Cup in Doha (Qatar), I reached two finals. In a week and a half I have a start in Varna (Bulgaria), and then in the city of Koper (Slovenia), where the Challenge Series World Cups will be held. I am intensively preparing for these competitions, and participation in the Baku Open Women’s Artistic Gymnastics Championship is like a control training for me,” Teymurova noted.

According to the athlete, she is pleased with her performance at the Baku Championship.

“I performed the program well at these competitions, I am very pleased with my result,” she added.

It should be noted that on May 9-10, the National Gymnastics Arena in Baku will host competitions of the 29th Baku Open Championship and the Baku Open Championship in men’s artistic gymnastics, the 8th Baku Open Championship and the Baku Open Championship in women’s artistic gymnastics. More than 50 athletes participating in various age categories participate in the competition.
