Such an amazing man is in the country of Kana. 29-year-old Sulemana Abdul Sameed, who lives in a village in Ghana’s capital, Accra, was diagnosed with gigantism a few years ago. Recently visited a local clinic for a routine check-up. When measured there, his height was said to be 9 feet 6 inches, making him the tallest man in the world. But his height could not be confirmed as the local clinic did not have suitable measuring equipment.
BBC media reporter tried to find out the truth about Sameet’s height. Since he was taller than the walls of the buildings in the village, he wandered around looking for a suitable wall to measure his height. Finding a way through the wall, his height was measured to be 7 feet 4 inches. Now known as the tallest man in the world, Sultan Gosan from Turkey stands at 8 feet 2.8 inches.
At the age of 22, Abdul Sameed realized that his height was increasing, “Who knows one day I may become the tallest man in the world; I’m still growing. I keep growing taller every three or four months. If you don’t see me for a few months you will realize that I have grown taller. ” says Abdul Sameetu.
As he does not have suitable sandals for his feet, he sews sandals from car tires by local labor. Abdul Sameed is also suffering from Marfan disease, his spine is bent and looks big. An important symptom of this disease, which is caused by a genetic disorder, is large feet.
However, his height has made him a local celebrity. Many take photographs with him. Abdul Sameetu says that even though he wants to fall in love, get married and have children, it is important to take care of his health.
