French President Emmanuel Macron visited the Middle East two weeks after Hamas’s attack on Israel. He landed in Tel Aviv, before meeting Israeli President Isaac Herzog and Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu. In front of the press, after Mr. Herzog spoke, Mr. Macron reiterated his expression through his visit ” solidarity ” of France with Israel ” today and tomorrow “insisting that the October 7 terrorist attack was a “immense shock for the entire planet, particularly in France”. At the end of the day, the French president will travel to the West Bank to meet the president of the Palestinian Authority, Mahmoud Abbas.
