The streets of Zaragoza, in northern Spain, turned into real rivers on Thursday July 6. An episode of torrential rain caused, in the evening, violent floods in the city, which had to put part of its public transport to a stop. A dozen motorists had to be rescued after being trapped in their vehicle.
Friday, July 7, some four hundred homes remained without electricity. The province remains on orange vigilance alert due to the risk of thunderstorms with hail and strong gusts of wind.
