There was a positive response to the request of the Municipality of Zitsa for the extension of the natural gas distribution network to the area of Eleousa from DEDA, with the construction works being in progress.
The construction work of the network started from the Industrial Area and extends from the height of Faneromeni (old E.O. Ioannina-Igoumenitsa) to the junction of the Town Hall Square in Eleousa, in order to provide the possibility of connection to the natural gas network in the settlements of Eleusis , Vounoplagia, Ampelakion, Gardiki, Zoodochos, as well as in the energy-intensive, mainly large poultry farms, as the mayor Michalis Pliakos had requested to the officials of DEDE, both during their visit to VI.PE. last February, and more recently, at an informative event in Ioannina.
At the same time, Mr. Pliakos announced that, according to the information he received from DEDA, the organization of an event is planned, in which citizens will be able to learn about the company’s services and at the same time express interest in gaining access to the network and connecting households and their businesses with natural gas.
