Within the framework of the project “From Ganja to Baku“(Gəncədən Bakıya), organized by the Ganja State Philharmonic named after Fikret Amirov, at the Shahriyar Cultural Center, a concert “Payız gəldi” (Autumn has come) was held, dedicated to the work of the prominent composer, People’s Artist of Azerbaijan Emin Sabitoglu, the press service told Day.Az Philharmonic.
Accompanied by the pop ensemble of the Gyandzhi State Philharmonic under the direction of Shakhriyar Tagiev, Emin Sabitog’s favorite compositions were performed – “Gəncədən gəlirəm”, “Güllərim”, “Kəpənək”, “Lymənəm”, Far green island”, “Il nə “It’s beautiful”, “The rice flowered”, “The rain”, “Thank you”, “Let there be hope”, “Peaceful separation”, “Soul of Azerbaijan”. People’s Artist Heydar Anatoly, soloists of the Gyandzhi Philharmonic Magerram Gasymov, Zamina Mustafaeva, Rustam Jafarov, Khayal Aliyev, Ali Mamedov, Eminaga Sadygov, Ainur Iskenderli, Amil Gasanoglu, Vasif Bairamov performed. The director-producer of the concert is the Honored Artist Inara Babaeva.
Emin Sabitoglu (Emin Sabit oglu Mahmudov, 02.11.1937 – 18.11.2000) is the author of many works in different musical genres – a symphony, three symphonic poems, three cantatas, a string quartet and poems for violin and piano, nine musical comedies, more than 600 songs . He wrote a large number of works for cinema and theater. The songs he wrote, “Dyaryalar”, “Ag Chichek”, “Fisherman’s Song”, “Gilavar”, “Tea”, “Baki, Sabakhyn Kheir”, “Akhtar syan myani”, “Airylma menden”, are very popular to this day. “Syanin uchun”, “Ayrylyg bir denizmish”, “Shukriya”, “Alagezlum” and other songs, as well as the operetta “Hijran”. An important place in his work is occupied by music written for feature films, including “I Can’t Forget”, “Baladadash’s First Love”, “Birthday”, “The Day Has Passed”, “Interrogation”, “Takhmina”, “Dede Gorgud” , “Our teacher Jabish” (or “I remember you, teacher”), “The groom was stolen”, etc.
