Emergency services, including police and an ambulance, have been dispatched to an apartment building in Solna, north of Stockholm, due to a reported dangerous object. The alarm indicates an immediate risk of explosion, and the emergency responders have cordoned off the area. According to SOS Alarm team leader Linda Bergqvist, this is a police incident. The object in question is believed to be a spice jar, which was found outside the building on Saturday. The police received a call regarding the object, and they have since set up cordons and are waiting for the bomb squad. Those living near the apartment have been advised to stay indoors. The alarm was raised at 10.01 pm on Sunday, and it took approximately 45 minutes for the bomb squad to arrive.

Sylvia Odin, officer on duty at the police in Stockholm, says that it is an object that was found outside on Saturday – and that someone or a few have since taken home.

– It’s a person who called in who felt unsure of what it was, so we went there with the bomb shelter, so we’ll see if the object is completely harmless or not.

The police have set up cordons at the address. People who live near the apartment in question, where the item is located, may stay indoors.

The alarm came in at 10.01pm on Sunday evening. About 45 minutes later, the bomb squad arrived at the scene.
