Prime Minister Viktor Orbán (r.) and Bulgarian President Rumen Radev negotiated energy issues last week.
According to Orbán, Bulgaria’s role for Hungary continues to grow, as Bulgaria contributes to Hungary’s energy supply security as a transit country. As part of the visit of the Bulgarian head of state, a memorandum of understanding was signed to strengthen cooperation between Bulgargaz and MVM CEEnergy and their subsidiaries in the field of gas supply and gas trading in the Central and Southeastern Europe region. On this basis, the parties will coordinate agreements on the purchase of liquefied natural gas (LNG) and on the transport and sale of natural gas.
