During their talks, the two parties expressed the strong will that drives the two countries to deepen their relations and breathe new life into bilateral cooperation in various fields, said a statement from the House of Advisors, noting that the Azerbaijani Minister of Foreign Affairs, on this occasion, expressed his pride in the visit he is making to Morocco, while welcoming the quality of bilateral political relations.
Mr. Bayramov also affirmed, the statement continued, that this visit aims to boost economic, commercial and cultural relations between the two countries, by taking advantage of the assets and opportunities available to strengthen cooperation in various fields, stressing the importance of the joint action of the two Moroccan and Azerbaijani legislative institutions, notably through parliamentary friendship groups and within the framework of coordination within multilateral parliamentary organizations.
For his part, Mr. Miyara expressed his satisfaction with this visit which reflects the strength of the exceptional relations between the two brotherly countries, based on cooperation, solidarity and mutual respect, affirming that the geographical distance between the Kingdom of Morocco and the Republic of Azerbaijan has hardly constituted an obstacle to the development of these distinguished relations.
After presenting the major projects initiated in Morocco under the enlightened leadership of His Majesty King Mohammed VI, Mr. Miyara stressed “the willingness of the House of Advisors to support efforts aimed at stimulating and consolidating the positive development of the economic and commercial aspect in bilateral relations, especially since the composition of the second chamber of parliament is marked by an active presence of entrepreneurs and businessmen.”
In this context, the Speaker of the House of Advisors expressed his thanks for the constant and firm position of the Republic of Azerbaijan supporting the territorial integrity of Morocco and its sovereignty over the Sahara, reaffirming Morocco’s continued support for Azerbaijan at various international forums.
