Bank notification-
A notification has been issued by the bank. It says that system maintenance work will be done from 12:00 AM to 03:00 AM and during this time all online payments will be closed. That is, such payments will be stopped for a total of 180 minutes. This will affect all account holders. In this, both savings and current account holders will not be able to do transactions.
Which apps will be affected-
However, this will affect all the apps with the help of which users make UPI payments. According to the notification, you will not be able to make payments on HDFC Mobile Banking App, GPay, WhatsApp Pay, Paytm, Shriram Finance and Mobikwik. That is, in a way, the system will be completely down. But it will not affect the transactions done with the help of POS. In such a situation, you can use it for payment.
What will need to be done ?
You do not need to do anything when UPI payment is down. It will be started by HDFC Bank itself. This is often done by banks during maintenance. But once the network is repaired, it is started again. This will definitely cause you some trouble when the payment is not happening, but once it is restored, you can use it easily.
